Weekly Dose of Enlightenment Mantra
Buddhist and especially devoted Buddhists, believe that mantras are essential to achieving a happy and fulfilled life. When I was in Katmandu, Nepal, villagers walked around with mala prayer beads reciting mantras. The town center has mantra stations where people spin prayer wheels. Mantras are written on the prayer wheels and spun to increase the number of times each mantra is recited. A villager told me that God put sections on our fingers to count how many times we repeated a mantra. Prayer beads and rosaries are used in the same way. It’s a way to keep your mind focused on the moment.
I Am Worthy
Repeat I am Worthy mantra as many times as you can remember until you feel a sense of self-respect rising within you. Add I am Worthy of Love or I Believe I am Worthy of Love. The longer the mantra, the more focused my mind stayed present.
Worthiness is self-respect, self-awareness, self-appreciation and self-understanding.
Personal respect is part of the worthiness patterning. As you awaken to become more self-aware you discover how important respect is.
When you respect yourself you’ll draw in people who respect you. Also, when you disrespect yourself you’ll draw in people who do the same. Start with respecting your time, honoring your health and honoring your life.
