KumariDevi • Modern Bodhisattva
Unlike anyone you’ve ever met, KumariDevi’s connection to the Divine is undeniably present. She embodies Direct Presence. When you connect with her, something beautiful begins to awaken in you, hearts open, lives instantly transform, and you feel calm and inspired coming home to your Truth.
What’s unique about KumariDevi her wisdom comes from a direct connection with the Divine and not from others. She’s the type of guru who probes the depths of consciousness, liberates suffering by releasing behavioral patterns of trauma and memory. Her liberated mind, coupled with peerless intuition, sees beyond ego illusions, and helps people awaken beyond fear and doubt. In the mid-1980s, she experienced a spiritual awakening and her mind silenced, and her third-eye and heart opened. She has dedicated her adult life to awakening humanity.
A Spiritual Journey
Growing up an average Catholic girl in the Midwest and attending daily church, Latin masses sang to her soul, and Christianity awakened her. As a young child, she conversed with an imaginary friend with a father-like voice.
An inner calling awakened Paula Muran (KumariDevi to the potential of liberation early in her life. From a young age, she was guided by a spiritual presence. A natural curiosity about Hinduism and Buddhism guided her to attend many Buddhist lectures and yoga classes while pursuing her professional career in Manhattan.
While attending a retreat in Manhattan (1977), the presiding Lama pointed at her and said, “Young lady, you’ll experience Nirvana in life.” This experience was the beginning of her journey to Self-Realization and enlightenment. Not fully comprehending the magnitude of it, she began her search for enlightenment. Nine years later, her mind silenced, and she experienced her spiritual awakening.
Los Angeles
From Manhattan to Los Angeles and arriving at the beginning of the New Age, she was introduced to a kaleidoscope of esoteric opportunities. She attended sweat lodges and pipe ceremonies with Native American medicine men and women. Studied Voice Dialogue (Hal Stone’s work), attended spiritual classes with Roselyn Burgere and Terry Cole Whittaker.
She was part of the original core group of Bashar and Mafu channeling in Los Angeles, including Seth and Michael material, Merlin, St. Germain, the Great White Brotherhood and other channels. Deepening her practice, she sat with many Buddhist and Spiritual teachers, including Ammachi and Amma Sri Karunamayi and later practicing meditation with Garchen Rinpoche in Northern Arizona. From alternative medicine to shamanism, she has experienced everything. She taught herself homeopathy, herbalism, and astrology, all while continuing her yoga practice.
Sanatkumara
During a “learn to channel” class in Los Angeles, as everyone prepared to open up and receive data via spirit, a profound silence overcame the room, and everyone felt intense, loving energy enter and channel directly through Paula (KumariDevi). There were so many spiritual entities seeking individual channels; it was common to ask, “Who is channeling through?” The response came, “call me whatever you want.” The name, Jonathan, was selected. It means the “light of God.”
A few months later, at another channeling event, KumariDevi felt a presence sit down beside her and take over her pen, and she wrote out, “You can now call me Sanatkumara.” That evening changed her life forever. The events following were most definitely pre-arranged. She learned so many things about herself, and her mission, including the imaginary friend she heard as a child, was Sanatkumara. After this encounter, she began to channel publicly in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and London. (There’s more, but we’ll leave it for the book).
Who is Sanatkumara
Sanatkumara, aka Lord Muruga (originator of the yoga Sutras) and Subrahmanya (the energy also channeled through Sai Baba), is from Hinduism and where there’s the most recorded history. It’s written, Sanatkumara is the origin of human consciousness and is known as the “Ancient of Days” and other names throughout other religions. Sanatkumara is the son of Shiva and the brother of Ganesh (Elephant God) from the primordial Hindu family.
How Sanatkumara Taught Her
Early on in her partnership, Sanatkumara would say, “I am you, and you are me” meaning we are all Divine. Sanatkumara taught her from the inner planes of consciousness and through silent meditation practices. She was asked to throw away her books and rely solely on wisdom coming from her higher Self. She describes it as though someone was talking behind her. The sound shifted from outside to inside until where it’s now completely integrated with her.
Under the tutelage of Sanatkumara, she was shown the inner workings of human consciousness, advanced healing techniques, and the matrix-mind field or electromagnetic grid, an energy phenomenon that scientists are just beginning to understand. Sanatkumara taught her everything she needed to know from the inner planes of consciousness.
In meditation, she saw the truth of cosmic order and the Divine Plan for humanity. Teachings intensified, and she began to see deep into the collective unconscious and how it reflects what we believe and how patterns are formed by what we think and feel. She saw the purpose of humanity and individual Soul purpose. One profound truth she realized early is that the universe is in each of you. Everything is a reflection of who you are. It’s how we help others to awaken.
